What Is The Trinity?
The term trinity is from the Latin trinitas, which means “three.” The term trinity was used to describe the triunity (or three-ness) of God, as described in Scripture. The triune is God (the Father), Jesus (the Son), and the Holy Spirit.
What Are the Attributes of God?
The attributes of God can be easily noted in His Names. Adonai - Lord (Exodus 4:10, 13). El Roi - the strong One who sees (Gen 16:13). El Shaddai - Almighty God (Gen 17:1). Yahweh - Lord, I Am, the eternal self-existing God (Exodus 3:13, 14). There are many more attributes, but we can sum it up with God's Being as omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent.
Is God Love?
Love is a core aspect of God’s character, His Person. God has given the gift for the ability to love as He does, through the power of the Holy Spirit (John 1:12; 1 John 3:1, 23-24).
What is the Will of God?
The Will of God involves three aspects: 1) God’s sovereign will is revealed in His unchangeable decrees (Genesis 1:3). 2) God’s revealed will is contained in His precepts, given to us in order that we may walk in holiness. 3) God’s dispositional will is His attitude. At times, God decrees something that gives Him no pleasure (Ezekiel 33:11).
